HOLDEN ASTRA TS CITY
"Sally" was my first car, bought it in March 2001 as new, it was way over my budget, but having tried various failed Japanese offers I bit my tongue and signed the paper work. It has brought me lots of good memories in the 2 and half years I have had it. My long drives to QLD... It was my most pride possession, the pleasure of driving on those bendy roads, many times saved me from disaster. Lively and fantastically balanced. German engineering mates British tuning and setup enables it to nail bend after bend after bend (till those Michelin rubbers wear out). It is known as the Holden Astra locally, Vauxhall Astra in Britain, Opel Astra in the rest of Europe, Asia, Unknown in America because Americans don't have corners and never appreciate the agility of a car, so GM US don't sell it.
